新的V－12B系列投影機：它承襲了V－12A獨特優越的特性，也增加比較多的功能。V－12B投影機接受比較大的載物台，而且背腹式對焦提供比較高的精確度。並提供內建的數位XY顯示器和數位分度顯示器。V－12B提供你正立的影像，使你使用投影機量測愉快。

　　由於腹背式調焦設計，使V－12B series能量測比較大的工件。你能選擇裝載物台－50 X 50 mm（ 2.0 X 2.0 in ），100 X 100 mm（ 4.0 X 4.0 in ），150 X 100 mm（ 5.9 X 4.0 in ），200 X150 mm（ 7.9 X 5.9 in ）或甚至 250 X 150 mm（ 9.8X1.9in ）（最長的測定範圍）。
　　V－12B三個調整腳在桌上維持距主體 2mm，所以不被不規則的工作桌子表面影響，量測的精確度顯著地被改良。

　　V－12B series可接受工件高度100mm（4.0in）之量測。由於使用CAE分析本體結構，能擴充最大的工件高度且允許放置一個比較大的載物台。 　　V－12B series正立影像優異品質、亮度和清晰度都是Nikon希望提供給使用者的。


　　內建垂直/斜角的表面燈源切換，可以觀察立體和量測最好狀態或瑕疵。
　　內建角度器（V－12BDC和V12－BD）及XY顯示器（V－12BDC和V－12BSC）。
　　底部光源有一個ZOOM type 聚光鏡，可調整至所需物鏡倍率之光圈，使用 200至 500倍及 CF金相鏡頭必須使用 DIC聚光鏡。
